OMG!! SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO MAN WHO STOLE MORTUARY VAN WITH DEAD BODY INSIDE – THE DETAILS WILL SHOCK YOU {MUST SEE}
A man stole a mortuary van , but realised an hour later that the van had corpse at the back
Determined to steal at least one vehicle, the man took back the van with the dead body and stole another vehicle. A big mistake
On his second attempt to steal, he was not so lucky. The said thief nearly became a corpse himself when the long arm of the law caught up with him
A 24-year-old man recently stole a mortuary van with dead body inside. He did not know there was corpse at the back of the van.
On discovering that the van had human corpse, the man, identified as Bobby Joe Washington, quickly returned the van to where he stole it from. Then he allegedly stole another vehicle.
Police investigating the incident say a mortuary attendant had parked the van outsider the business premise and went inside. Unknown to him, Washington was walking around and spotted the vehicle.
“The van driver had just picked up a decedent and returned to the mortuary to get some paperwork. He left his key in the car, which made it easier for Washington to drive it away in no time,” says Ryan Railsback, the officers looking into the matter.
Interestingly, Washington returned the van about an hour later after he discovered that there was a dead body at the back. The suspect, according to police report, then tried to take off with other vehicles from the same place.
“This time he also tried to run over an employee who attempted to stop him. I have never heard anything like this before. Of all the bad judgements that this man made, at least he made one good one, which was to leave the diseased person alone,” says Railsback.
“He stopped the vehicle, but refused to cooperate with us until we brought in canines,” says Railsback.
Washington was finally arrested and charged with vehicle theft and assault with deadly weapon.
He was, however, not charged with theft of dead body, as the officers argued he did not intend to steal the corpse, otherwise he wouldn’t have returned it.
